My infectious love of the sea will help provide an unforgettable experience. As your Skipper my commitment to safety will ensure you always feel relaxed and at ease whilst on board. As a patient and encouraging teacher, I am always keen to introduce people to sailing, so whether you want to sit back and relax or get involved with the sailing, I will tailor your holiday to suit your needs. Having held a variety of Management positions in various Companies throughout my career, owned and managed my own Pub/Restaurant business for 16 years and traveled extensively, I look forward to being your entertaining host.

Qualifications & Experience;
“I am a passionate and dedicated sailor and my love of the sea started as a 14 year-old boy when I learnt to sail at school, soon after, buying my first Graduate sailing dinghy.

For over 25 years I have raced and cruised all over the East and West coasts of Scotland, competing in many of Scotland’s top sailing events. I have undertaken numerous delivery trips throughout Europe and taken lots of sailing holidays in the Mediterranean and Caribbean. In 2008 I came out to Corfu to work as a a freelance Skipper and decided to start my own business. For the past 4 years I have run Celebration Charters operating in the Greek Ionian and was then joined by my partner Veronica for the past 2 years and we offer Skipper/Hostess charters. My ambitious nature and love of the sea led me to become qualified as a commercially endorsed RYA Yachtmaster and Cruising Instructor.”
I was also awarded by RYA President, Her Royal Highness the Princess Royal, the Yachtmaster of the Year at the 2008 London Boat Show. "Robert was selected from almost 2500 Yachtmaster candidates who took their practical exams in 2007. The RYA Yachtmaster of the Year trophy, is awarded to a student who has excelled in their practical Yachtmaster exam. The winner of the award must possess outstanding skills and knowledge as a skipper and will have demonstrated their expertise and experience during their exam."
